Boot Modes
This section demonstrates boot modes of the JoyKit.
Regular Bootâ
Turn on the power to enter regular boot mode.

In this mode, the primary display shows the content of line 000
in edit mode.
Test Bootâ
Press and hold FUNC
and â
keys then power on to enter Test Boot.
In test boot, the following components can be tested:
- keys
- Single colour LEDs
- Full colour LEDs
- Buzzer

- Test information will be shown on primary and secondary displays
- The state of user keys are indicated on top of the secondary display
- LEDs are all ON
The buzzer will play a short melody with a few tones when entering Test Boot Mode, after 5 seconds it will turn to Regular Boot Mode.
Clock Boot Modeâ

This mode requires DS1307 RTC module.
Press and hold FUNC
and â
keys then power on to enter Clock Boot.

If BME280 sensor module is also available, the environment temperature and humidity will be shown on the secondary display as well.

Press âĩ
ī¸ key to adjust date and time.

to move the little triangle pointer to point on Year, Month, Date, Hour, Minute and Second.
